Ryan: 3 Years, 5 Months

Ryan had a fun month but is ready for winter to be OVER!  He's had a few days home with dad during state basketball and they had fun playing soccer, baseball, and other games at the gym, sometimes with friends. He loves "oxing boxing" with Daddy, which somehow requires his shirt to be off, and of course still loves racing and tackling.  He's done a few art projects, likes playing pretend, and continues to enjoy puzzles, books, and other toys. A favorite activity is piling up all of his "comfy 'fings" (all blankets, pillows, stuffed animals, etc.) and laying in them.

He loves seeing his grandparents and is always excited when we get to spend time with them. He even got to play in the snow at Adam/s parents house with their neighbor kids and had a great time.

We've been working on a few of his speech sounds, especially the "th" sound at the beginning of a word, like "three, thing, think, then." He catches himself sometimes and eventually we'll move on to other sounds and sound blends :)

He's still taking an afternoon nap, although not always willingly but does great sleeping at night, getting up between 6 and 7 every morning.  We got him signed up for 3-year-old preschool in Alton next Fall and I think he's already looking forward to it.

Ryan continues to love being Cohen's big brother. He gives him hugs and kisses and likes to talk and play with him.
