Surprising Grandpa

On Sunday, we made it to First Reformed Church in Hull to surprise Grandpa Verlyn. He has served as a minister in the RCA for 25 years and they recognized him during the morning worship service. It was a special time for our family to be together to celebrate the years of faithful service Verlyn has given in ministry. There were many family members and friends there to help celebrate.

After church, we went out to eat with the "Minnesota" relatives. Ryan did great in his first big outing. After naps at home, we also made it to Small Group at night. It was a big day, but the little dude made it easy on us by sleeping peacefully through most of the activities.
