Did I Catch Another Blue Gill?

 Sunday evening was the perfect time to make our first trip of the season to Mill Creek in Paullina. Ryan was so excited to get his Spiderman pole out once again.

He pulled in a few quick blue gill and Adam taught him how to hold the fish so he didn't get poked.

He also did the honors of throwing the fish back. (That dark spot in the lake is the fish in flight)

After a while, Ryan got a little tired of waiting for fish to bite.

So he just played with a stick. And worms.

Cohen just hung out (literally) as we tried out an infant carrier (it didn't prove Disney-worthy) but we all enjoyed the weather and a picnic supper. Then, we tried out the playground where Ryan all of a sudden claimed he was afraid of slides (not boding well for Disney rides) but overall we had a great time and hope to go back again this summer.
