So Long, Steph!

Friday was kind of a sad day as I said good-bye to my friend and co-worker Steph who moved to Florida this weekend. We have made many memories over the past few years!

• Dressing up for Thanksgiving (with paper headbands and bonnets like you make in first grade to become Indians and Pilgrims). Except Steph, who modified a homemade chicken costume to be the Thanksgiving turkey.
• Her obsession with Casey's breakfast pizza and steak tips and the bowling alley
• The "Bad Attitude" bear she created where we had to put money in a bear-shaped jar whenever we complained. One guy put in a $10 to pre-pay so he could complain whenever he wanted. :)
• The fitness/weightloss contest she sponsored that got way out of hand as her and the only guy in the contest's competitive spirit escalated to them working out up to 900 minutes/week.
• Trips to Omaha and Sx City that both ended in a lunch at Jimmy John's (we have high-class taste)
• Traveling to Chicago for the candy show, eating tons of fudge and moose munch at other booths, escorting our giant inflatable mascot around town, and not being able to get into the White Sox game.
• Pranks that included my office being gift-wrapped, stacking pails to the ceiling in hers, taping the wheels of her office chair so it wouldn't roll, turning up the ringing volume on the phone, hanging 6 dozen plush rabbits from her palm tree, creating a pet Mr. Bubbles out of chewed gum, and countless fake signs, news articles, photoshopped images, and other things to put up in our windows to make us smile!

I have many fun memories and work won't be the same without her, but I wish her the best of luck in Florida and hope to visit someday! So Long, Steph!!
