One of Ryan's new favorite things is to bounce a ping-pong ball around the kitchen where it can ricochet off cupboards, chairs, table, appliances, and floor to produce its signature sound. He first discovered the joy of "peeng-pong" when Abbie & Wade were babysitting at their house and discovered they didn't have much in the way of toys but DID have an ice cream pail full of ping-pong balls from a little practical joke I like to call "Hey, we don't want this ping-pong table anymore, let's set it up in Abbie & Wade's basement while they're gone for the weekend and see how long it takes them to discover it." (Not long and they weren't amused.) Ryan loved the bucket of ping-pong balls, but did give them a bit of a scare when he found a golf ball in the mix and threw it in the vicinity of the TV. I guess it's all fun and games until there's a golf ball through the LCD.

Unless you are playing "golf ball through the LCD" which is similar to the game we played in our youths - "Poke your eye out." Mom hated that game.
