Cousins

Ryan got to spend lots of quality time with his cousins this week as my sister, Megan, had her kids, Emily and Lincoln, at my parents all week for a little summer vacation.

Here is a little poem about their fun time together:

Emily likes riding her bike.

Ryan wasn't too sure about the pink and purple trike.

Lincoln watches Ryan try to hit.

If he's going to play with this hoop, he'll have to grow a bit.

Lincoln preferred playing with his tractor that's red.

Ryan's "basketball hoop" almost hit Lincoln in the head.

 Emily drew a dinosaur and a "Butrfly"

Lincoln tried to go "bye-bye"

We all took a trip to the "Dinosaur Park"

And played with the water table until it was dark.

Okay, so I don't have a future in poetry, but the kids did have a lot of fun together! We hope to see them again this summer!
