Today's event was getting out of the house for the first time since coming home from the hospital! Cohen had a checkup at 9:15 and I kind of forgot how much extra time to allow for getting an infant dressed, fed, and bundled up (along with all their "crut" to haul around). His appointment went really well. As the nurse as said the day before, he is very healthy! By this visit, he was up to 7 lbs. 13 oz. so he's definitely on track weight-wise.
Even though it was snowy and cold, it was nice to get some fresh air for once! We also had a lady from church who had arranged some meals for us, stop by to drop off a cake donated by our neighbor (and member of our church). If you are ever in need of an amazing cake, we highly recommend
