For the last few years, we've done the "ugly Christmas sweater" thing at our December staff meeting. This year we were challenged to dress as a Christmas movie character, song, or lyric and group costumes were encouraged. After a successful trip to Dollar Tree in Le Mars, we came up with this:
It was a little hard to concentrate on our 2014 strategic plan from a guy in reindeer antlers:
But, not as hard as hearing the contstruction update from the Ghost of Christmas Past:
The ins-and-outs of a new office calendar system were presented by Cindy Lou-Who and a piece of Coal:
I love our fun-loving office group! We know how to work hard but also know how to have fun! That evening, we all got to attend a dueling pianos show and dinner and got to invite guests to join us. It was fun getting to know some people from our church better and have fun singing along with everything from Metallica, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Sir Mix-a-lot to Elvis and Neil Diamond.
