Backyard Bible eXplore

On Sunday night we found out about a community Bible School program put on by several churches in town. Basically, you just show up to one of the backyard locations in your neighborhood and there are 3 nights of fun activities for kids age 4 years-5th grade from 6:30-8. Ryan said he would go and we walked a few blocks with him the first night, meeting many neighborhood kids along the way. He wasn't shy at all and joined right in the activities. They did a "Christmas in July" theme and he had a great time making crafts, playing games, singing, and learning about the meaning of Christmas. On the last night, they sang a little song as we picked him up.  We are grateful for this quality event and Ryan had a great time with other kids from the neighborhood that go to all different churches!
