First Ice Fishing Trip

Adam took Ryan out for his first ice-fishing experience at Mill Creek. Before leaving, I asked Ryan what the most important thing was to remember about ice fishing. His reply: "Stay out of the water!"  Good advice for anyone.

Ready to pull the sled out onto the lake.
Adam said Ryan caught on to how the fish finder worked and liked telling him when the fish were coming.  He liked to jig...a lot. Maybe too much. But you can't blame the kid for trying to find something to actually DO.
Waiting for a bite.
After 2 hours out in the shack, the report he gave was "Daddy caught one blue gill and I caught none fish. I wanted to catch a bass...or a salmon."

Reeling in Dad's catch.
